Katniss was going to regret doing this. Her curiosity got the better of her in the end though. She also wondered if something happened to her, or she went missing for some amount of time would Peeta or her mother come looking for her. She'd know Gale would at least especially if she didn't come back before nightfall.
She looked around for a way out of this, but it didn't seem likely. She held out her bow and started to walk slowly towards the cocoons or whatever it was... is this how Snow was going to kill her? Wouldn't surprise her in all honesty she just didn't want to go this way. She kept an ear out for anything around her, but she needed to know what this was.
